The former Soviet Republic of Chernarus has been engulfed in a civial
war for almost 2 years. The elected government of the country
employs the Chernarussian Defense Force to battle the separatist groups
that have declared various autonomous peoples republics in the east of
the country. The largest of them being the Chedansk Peoples Republic, or
also known as Chedanskaya Narodnaya Respublika. Western nations have
openly backed the Chernarus Defence Force, while the Russian Federation
is openly engaged in supporting the separatist movements.
Chedaki separatist forces and the Chernarussian Defence Force are
preparing to engage in the battle to capture Elektrozavodsk which is
strategically of high importance as it acts as the railway and waterway
transportation hub of the entire region.
