Fellow Soldiers,

As we advance into the pivotal Battle of Nancy in 1944, our esteemed unit, the 80th Infantry Division, is tasked with critical objectives that will shape the outcome of this campaign. Operating under the banner of the United States Army, we stand ready to uphold our duty and make a decisive impact in liberating this crucial area from enemy forces.

Our first objective is to clear the villages on the hilltop approach. Facing determined resistance from entrenched enemy forces, our mission is to swiftly eliminate enemy presence and secure a safe passage for our advance. Utilizing our infantry company as the main force and supported by three Sherman tanks, we will employ a combination of firepower and maneuverability to achieve our goal.

Following the successful clearing of the villages, our attention turns to the capture of the hilltop. This strategic high ground serves as a stronghold for enemy forces, posing a significant threat to our operations. With precision and determination, we will conduct coordinated assaults,supported by our Sherman tanks for added firepower, to drive out the enemy and establish control over the hilltop.

Our final objective is the capture of Nancy, completing the series of operations aimed at liberating the region. Engaging in urban warfare scenarios, we will navigate through the challenging terrain, supported by our combined arms team, to root out remaining enemy elements and establish peace and security for the local populace.
