Coop Search and Resque

With our helicopter shot down near the vlllage of Dak Toi, quick search party was established in the nearest US base consisting of 3 Platoons. We set out on the road south of the base towards the Dak Toi in the morning hours to find the General that was in that helicopter. Just few kilometers from the base we were fired upon by the enemy ambushes with Heavy machine guns and small arms fire. All the fire forced us to move from the road and into the forrest where we had to fight tree by tree, enemies high up in the trees were huge problem for us.

While under fire 2nd Platoon had to move on the other side of river where they stayed for the rest of the operation covering us from the other side and they destroyed multiple enemy vehicles. While approaching the Dak Toi we found our downed pilots and General, with the new orders from Base we moved out to clear the village and enemy base. Attack on the base began by 1st and 3rd Platoon opening suppresing fire on the base neutralizing AA and multiple enemies, from there they split and 1st Platoon attacked from the East side while the 3rd Platoon attacked from the North side.

Base was quickly overrun and defensive position established, from there Platoons moved to clear out the village, while the rest of the force repeled enemy counter attacks from that position. While clearing the village 3 Pilots sent from the base to pick us up contacted us on the Company frequency. With LZ established 3 Chinooks landed and picked up friendly forces. While the helicopters were starting to retreat one of them was shot, without the engine pilot managed to safely land and establish their position and defend it. With the quick reaction force formed in the base another chopper was sent to pick them up and return them to base.
