For several years now, the Russian military and its private companies have been training the security forces of the current regime in the Central African Republic. In this way, the government manages to maintain control over its own territory as well as peace in the country.
Anti-regime factions are not in a position to fight against the government legally and therefore have decided to gain power through violent terrorist actions.
In order to succeed in their intention, terrorists must eliminate the main force of the current regime, which are Russian instructors, so in the run-up to the upcoming presidential elections, terrorist actions are intensifying along with attacks on Russian bases across the country.
