Operation Black Widow is set across the islands of Tanoa, where a Delta Force special operations squadron has been deployed to deal with a well-armed and organised Military Junta that has overthrown the elected government. Recently the Junta's forces nationalized by force, US owned mining operations on the Islands, taking US citizens hostage as human shields. Unable to simply flatten the island in retaliation, the White House has tasked Delta-force to depose the Junta, kill their leader General Hernez, and bring the hostages home safe.

Sabre squadron forms the command and control element for the operation, including two manoeuvre troops, each made up of two assault teams and a specialist support element. There is also a Quick Reaction Force mounted in armed Humvees, ready to move quickly to reinforce friendly units or respond to unexpected developments. QRF troops are heavily armed, including anti-tank and fire support weaponry.

Air assets play a major part in how the operation will be carried out. Transport and heavy-lift helicopters for insertion, resupply, and casualty evacuation, alongside light attack helicopters for close air support. Fixed-wing jets are also available for strike missions.

The main focus of the operation is Georgetown, a heavily contested urban area that needs to be brought under control. The squadron is tasked with securing key locations, disrupting enemy forces, and ultimately removing their ability to operate in the region. Expect resistance the enemy is well-equipped and capable of putting up a proper fight.

Alongside the main objectives, there is an additional layer to the mission. Intelligence suggests that hostages are being held somewhere in the area, but their exact location is unknown. The squadron will need to gather information on the ground by searching key areas to locate and recover intelligence documents.
