Operation Summary:
On 28nd of July, 2014, SFS 79 has captured multiple islands from the enemy and is preparing for a massive counterattack on enemy’s retreating ships. The Strike Fighter Squadron 97 has been tasked to retake the ocean and the coast, multiple friendly support will be in the area, to destroy the enemy for good.
Mission Intent:
The Strike Fighter Squadron 97 will be in action to Search and Destroy multiple enemy vessels and ground forces in the coastal areas in Persian Gulf. Enemy may have aircraft, but they lack SAM sites, as they were destroyed in previous operation.
Objectives:
• Search and Destroy Enemy Forces located in the ocean and the coast.
• Intercept enemy aircraft.
• Support friendly units
• Destroy the enemy once and for all.
Enemy Forces consists of:
- MANPADS
- Fast-Moving Fighters
- Destroyers and Carriers
Friendly Forces consists of:
- Carrier Strike Group One
- CVN-70 and 71
- Multiple Burke-Class DDG
- Multiple Attack Aircrafts
