1.Situation:
Following the collapse of organized Soviet authority on Kolguyev, FIA resistance cells have emerged across the island. Originally formed to oppose Soviet occupation, these groups have refused to disarm and continue conducting attacks against both Soviet and United States forces operating in the region.
Recent intelligence indicates that FIA fighters have established an extensive network of hidden weapons caches throughout Kolguyev. Many of these caches are concealed within abandoned mining complexes, tunnels, maintenance shafts, and underground storage facilities dating back to the island's industrial era.
These weapons stockpiles are being used to arm insurgent cells operating across the island and support continued attacks against military patrols, logistics convoys, and government infrastructure.
Although Soviet forces remain present on Kolguyev, a temporary deconfliction agreement has been established between Soviet and United States commands. Both parties have agreed to avoid direct engagement while conducting separate operations against FIA insurgents.
Recent reconnaissance and intelligence reports have identified several mining sites suspected of containing large quantities of weapons, explosives, and communications equipment. Failure to eliminate these caches will allow the FIA to sustain long-term insurgent operations across the island.

2.Mission:
-Our mission is to conduct counterinsurgency operations across Kolguyev, locate and clear suspected mining complexes, destroy FIA weapons caches, and eliminate insurgent elements operating within the AO.

3.Execution – Concept of Operations:
Phase I – Deploy into the AO and establish security around designated mining facilities.
Phase II – Conduct systematic searches of tunnels, shafts, and underground storage areas.
Phase III – Eliminate FIA resistance and secure all discovered cache locations.
Phase IV – Destroy weapons, explosives, and communications equipment found within the mining complexes.
Phase V – Conduct final clearance operations and withdraw upon completion of all objectives.

4.Logistics
-All personnel are to conduct final ammunition, medical, and equipment checks prior to deployment.
-Transportation, reinserts, and resupply operations will be conducted via rotary-wing assets when available.
-Squad-level medical support will be maintained throughout the operation, with additional treatment capability provided by the Platoon Medic.
-FIA forces are expected to employ ambushes, improvised explosive devices, and hit-and-run tactics throughout the AO.
-US and Soviet forces are operating under a deconfliction agreement. Soviet positions are not to be engaged unless fired upon.
