COOP FIRST CHECHEN WAR DEFENCE OF GROZNY

During the hard fought battle in the previous months we were able to secure bigger part of Grozny, enemy forces were concentrated on the Eastern side of the city holding two important bridges.
Our force was split in two parts, with Anna, Company HQ and AGL team moving to secure the North Sector which was on the higher ground than rest of the city which proved usefull in defending the town.
Second part consisting of Boris moves to secure the South Sector with the covering fire from Vasily which was on top of the Parlament building captured in the last Operation.
With Anna clearing the North Sector, base of fire position was set up on that hill overlooking the bridges. Vasily set up there with three KORD-s, AGL and two Metis ATGM-s.
Enemy reinforcements advanced to the North sector but were quickly repeled.
With Boris securing the South sector Anna was able to move to the Center sector with cover from Vasily, while Boris moved to secure the Railway station.
With the Center sector cleared last push towards the East sector from all sides was fast.
When we captured the East sector we got information on enemy forces moving on our positions to push us back.
With quick reorganization, Anna holding the Northern bridge and Boris Southern one and Logistics moving in and planting multiple mines on both of the bridges to stop enemy armor moving over them.
Attack came from North, East and South of the bridges. Multiple BRDM-s, BMP-s and MTLB-s pushed but were stopped by the mines and AT fire, most of the enemy infantry was also short lived under the fire of multiple HMG and AGL.
With enemy pushed back we concluded our mission.
